I am an educator and literacy specialist with over 10 years experience in low-income and under-served communities. My interest is in creating highly-engaging and effective learning experiences for young people, and ensuring equitable access to opportunities. Specifically, I like to read about education, technology, literacy and information.

about: open classroom
I started open classroom because I believe that all social change happens through learning. Non-traditional “classrooms” or learning experiences are all around us: at work, online, in our communities. In order to be effective, learning experiences must put the user (not the “teacher”) at the center.
I help organizations and individuals create impact through the design, development and delivery of high-leverage learning experiences for diverse stakeholders. Through this work, the organizations I work with use technology, information and interaction to empower communities in order to drive change.
As a consultant, I can create and deliver high-quality and effective:
- lesson and unit plans
- curricula
- training modules
- websites
- pathfinders
- project plans
- information architecture designs
- interaction design projects
- research projects
- and more
