Train the Trainer Content for WestEd

In the summer of 2016, Open Classroom Consulting worked with a small team within WestEd to develop train-the-trainer content for two inter-related social-emotional learning workshops:

• Student Leadership Workshop: A day-long workshop for youth, designed to ignite and inspire leadership around mental health and wellness on campus.
• Adults as Youth Allies Workshop: A day-long workshop for adults who wish to better support student leadership in order to create healthier school climates.

The train-the-trainer content was intended for use by WestEd subject-matter experts, to help them build a network of facilitators and scale the impact of these workshops. Open Classroom Consulting organized existing workshop curricula and created a Trainer's Manual, with accompanying handouts and PowerPoint presentations.
